ParaSight is an application designed to address this challenge by organizing available data in a manner that enhances comprehensibility. Explore our expanding database of paranormal, supernatural, and peculiar entities to delve into their intriguing narratives.

Report your Sightings

The primary objective of the ParaSight app is to provide a platform for users to share their paranormal experiences with the community. The reporting interface enables you to input various details that could be valuable to others:

• A textual account of the event (enhance with hashtags and URLs for richer reporting)
• Date of the sighting
• Optional start and end times of the encounter
• Location where the entity was observed
• Adjustable radius for general location sightings
• (NEW) Up to 5 images captured during the encounter

All sightings are plotted on a global map for users to explore and learn about diverse encounters.

Get Notified

Opt-in to receive real-time notifications whenever a new entity is added to the database or a fresh sighting is shared. Additionally, you will receive alerts when another user:

• Votes on your content
• Rates one of your sightings
• Comments on a sighting or post authored by you

Build Your Credibility

Earn recognition within the ParaSight community by contributing valuable content. Each time other users find your submissions engaging, you will accumulate "Cred," which can be monitored in your anonymous profile.

In your profile, you can:

• Upload a profile picture
• Alter your username
• View all past "Cred" accolades received

Utilizing concepts such as crowd support, media references, and corroborating testimonies will enable us to refine sighting credibility scores. This enhancement will spotlight particularly convincing encounters and generate "hot spots" on the map.
